Cable & Wireless’s High Speed Internet uses ADSL technology to provide fast Internet access over a telephone line. With High Speed Internet you can be on the Internet and send and receive voice calls and faxes at the same time using a single telephone line… Never miss a call again!

High Speed Internet provides an on-line connection that is always on and there is no need to dial-up.... You have instant access!

New Packages - There are five new packages effective July10, 2005. There are three residential packages (Lite, Prime, Deluxe) and two business packages (Business Prime and Business Deluxe). These are available with term commitments of 12 months for residential packages and 24 months for business packages. These new packages have even greater speeds, new lower prices and many more features!

Existing Packages -The existing Standard, Select, Premium, Business Select and Business packages will remain for customer who wish to sign up on a month-to-month basis with no term commitment. Prices and product description for the existing packages remain unchanged.

NOTES:

Dial up Internet access is available to the Log-on user only. (a) For Residential/Consumer packages, dial-up access is not available while the High Speed Internet connection is active (i.e.: It is non-concurrent. Therefore the user can be logged on to the High Speed Internet OR can dial up). (b) For Business packages there is concurrent access, therefore the user can be logged on to the High Speed Internet AND can dial up)
For packages with term commitments, termination of service prior to length of term period will invoke an early termination penalty charge of the difference between the discounted rate and the actual cost of the service in addition to 50% of the outstanding rental for the remainder of the 12 or 24 month period, plus the full sum of any other fee or cost that was waived.
With the exception of the Log-on user, all other usernames are email boxes only. Users with email boxes only do not have the ability to log-on to the Internet with their user name & password.
Business Email requires customer to provide a registered domain name.
Bandwidth is not guaranteed . High Speed Internet is a shared service so actual speeds depend on the number of persons sharing the bandwidth at the time. Business packages will have Quality of Service with a minimum effective bandwidth, not applicable to residential packages whose throughput is wholly best effort to achieve the stated speeds .
The one-time provisioning charge is non-refundable (ie:it is NOT a Deposit)
A High Speed Internet Modem and Splitter/Filter Kit are required with the High Speed Internet Service (Note- Internal or external dial-up modems will not work with the High Speed Internet service).
Prices do not include charges for the fixed line. (i.e.: Line Rental and usage charges for regular voice calls will apply)
Multiple users (PC Clients) can be facilitated by all packages with technologies such as NAT (Network Address Translation) using Proxy Servers or Firewalls on the customer's network.
